As many of you may have noticed, the Waubeka Fire Department road sign at the corner of County Rds A & H is dark and at best, working only intermittently. Technology ages quickly, and the parts needed to repair it are no longer available. The future of the sign has been a topic at our meetings. While it is a popular feature in town and many residents are commenting that they would like it to stay, the biggest obstacle to upgrading to a new display is cost. Hopefully we can come up with a solution in the near future.
